"A Celebration of Gospel"
The Long Beach Branch NAACP hosted a mini Gospel Festival Program at their General Membership meeting, August 17th, 2008.
Some featured Choirs and Soloists were:
- E'mon White a Long Beach Branch NAACP 2007 ACT-SO Participant and Long Beach Renaissance High School Senior
- Bobbie Harper
- Monastery Group of Long Beach
- Praise Dancers
- Sister's of Praise
- Long Beach Southerner's
In addition, the program included:
- City of Long Beach 2009 Proposed Budget Cuts
- Friends of the Library – "Save the Downtown Library"
- Voter Registration
