History & Information

Through generous support of The Farmers Insurance Group, elected officials, community leaders, educational leaders, local businesses & event participants, the Farmers Angel City Classic offers valuable scholarships to help deserving recipients gain a college education.

With your continued sponsorship, patron support and ticket purchases we can only see further growth and success in providing much needed and well deserved scholarship awards for future generations of youth from our community.

From world famous musicians and actors, to leading political figures; from large corporate sponsors to numerous smaller community businesses, The Farmers Insurance Group Angel City Classic has been blessed with an outpouring of supportive fans. Our Scholarship Gala brings parties together for a wonderful evening dedicated to celebrating our youth & future generation of leaders.

Each year the growth of this L.A. tradition is the direct result of more people and businesses from L.A. to the East Coast to the Deep South who recognize the unique level of exposure, support and reward an event like this brings to the Los Angeles community.

We showcase a genuine southern-style Battle of the Bands and exciting football game featuring two of the finest HBCU's in the country, Prairie View A&M and Morehouse College. When you add in a full day of festivities, that begins with a vendor festival and career fair, and end with a soulful Fifth Quartet concert, you have an event rarely seen this side of the Mississippi.
